Genetic Variability and Correlation Study in Determinate Type Progenies of Indian Bean [Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet]

Aims: In India, the Indian bean is a popular vegetable and legume crop. An attempt was made to analyze variability, correlation as well direct-indirect effects using path analysis for yield its sub-characters.
 Place Duration of Study: Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat. Rabi 2019-20.
 Methodology: The investigation conducted 55 genotypes in randomized block design three replications. Total eleven quantitative traits were studied data collected from ten random plants each genotype.
 Results: ANOVA depicted sufficient variability present among all traits. Plant height, racemes per plant, pods raceme, pod weight, width, seed plant showed moderate high GCV (Genotypic coefficient variation) PCV (Phenotypic variation), heritability, genetic advance cent mean. raceme significantly positively associated with at genotypic level. Pods had most favorable direct (0.736) on subsequently by seeds pod, length, height days maturity.
 Conclusion: It concluded that amount within material under study. selection maturity would be easy useful bringing about improvement bean.
